My writing includes novels, reviews, and articles. Egret, my latest novel, is a love story set in the 1980's lesbian milieu
of the Hamptons and the NYC art scene. My science fiction novels, MutaGenesis and NeuroGenesis are “hard” and
world-building as well as anthropological and feminist. I am deeply committed to animals, old houses, and the
preservation of the natural environment. The last theme that underlies Egret and MutaGenesis.
Revised editions of Egret, Neurogenesis, and Mutagenesis
are now available in hard copy and as ebooks.
“…seethes with sexual energy
even as important points are
being made about the relationship
between art and ecology.”

"...it is an excellent piece of
hard-core science fiction;
imaginative, extrapolative, credible on an exobiological,
anthropological, cultural
and at least arguably
hard science level, and characterologically
interesting, too."
Norman Spinrad Asimov's Science Fiction
"...MutaGenesis is
Science Fiction at its best. Highly recommended."
